The VPF [Voice Peering FabricTM] is a distributed Layer 2 Ethernet Network for the purpose of exchanging VoIP traffic. The VPF provides an economical traffic exchange environment where VoIP participants' can directly connect to each other, avoiding the unnecessary delays and relays. Telecom Carriers and Service Providers can be directly connected to the VPF.

Each member is listed on the VPF website and has the option to post, buy and sell routes. Participants can contact each other either offline or online to negotiate the pricing, terms and conditions between the parties. The VPF is completely neutral and is not a counter-party to any minutes-based transactions.
